What Does Domain and Year Specific Mean?
Requirements:
- Valid Grower in an AgStudio Database with Resources
Answer:
When you work with products and resources in AgStudio, whether you are adding, creating, or editing them, you do so within a specific domain (Grower, Location, Territory, Company) and crop year. This enables you to have a specific set of products and resources for various domains and various crop years.
- For Example: Grower A uses Fertilizer X for his nutrient recommendation, where Grower B uses Fertilizer Y and Z. You can set it up in AgStudio where Grower A only sees his Fertilizer X and Grower B only sees Fertilizers Y and Z, eliminating any possible confusion between growers.
**Tasks are the only exception to this condition as the Task Editor displays the permanent tasks on all domain levels, but can only be edited on the highest domain.
