How do I scan a card?
Overview:
The first step in the AgDirector workflow is to scan data. This article describes this process.
Requirements:
- Card data
- Installed version of AgDirector
Process:
- From the AgDirector dialog, in the Archive to Disk frame, Step # 1 – Select a card image and scan it by:
- inserting a data card which will automatically populate the Card Image Folder field, or
- clicking the ellipse
button to navigate to the location of the card image you want to scan. See the Card Manager topic for details about the folder structure that each card manager requires.
- In both instances, a scan for data automatically occurs. If information is added to the currently selected Card Image Folder after the initial scan, click Scan to initiate a new scan.
A Progress Bar displays the progress of the scan. Click Cancel if you want to discontinue the scan.
