Firmware Update For IBridge Devices

Due to significant changes that Apple made regarding external accessories, your current iBridge USB device is incompatible with iOS 11 without a firmware update.

Tip: The firmware updates will not make any changes to your content on your iBridge. However, as with any software update, we still recommend that you back up your content before performing the update to ensure all your content is safe.

Five simple steps is all it takes to update your firmware:

For Windows:

1. Have your iBridge device, a Windows computer, and an Internet connection ready.
2. Plug your iBridge into the USB port of your Windows computer running Windows 7 or later.
3. Download and Run the MapShots_Leef_Updater.exe file.
4. Click Update Now.
5. Click Close.

For MAC:

1. Have your iBridge device, a MAC computer, and an Internet connection ready.
2. Plug your iBridge into the USB port of your MAC computer running Yosemite/El Capitan/Sierra.
3. Download, extract, and Run the MapShots_Leef_Updater.exe file.
4. Click Update Now.
5. Click Close.
