Set Up Seed Products for Use With VRS Rx

Overview:

In order to use VRS processes in AgStudio, products must first be set up under the Setup menu. One option is to add products individually. Another is to import a csv file with product information.

Import Seed Products Template

Prerequisites: 

1. Set up crops and commodities
2.  If you want to import a CSV, you must set up at least one product with the same manufacturer as the products you plan to import. This creates the manufacturer in the system. 

Process:

Individual Product Option: 

1. Log into AgStudio
2. Load a grower using the grower-picker in the top left corner. 
3. Click the Setup menu from the top menu. 
4. Click Seed. 
5. Individual Option: Click Add
6. Select a crop. 
7. Select a Global Search
8. Enter the product name to search. 
9. If the product name does not appear after a Global Search, pick New Product
   • 
10. Fill out the Seed Properties form: 
    • 
11. Click Ok twice to add the product. 

Bulk Products Option:

1. Bulk Option: Repeat steps 1-4 for setting up an individual product, then...
2. Click Import Seed:
   • 
3. Select a .CSV file from your machine. Use this template to set up your products. 
   • 
4. A dialogue window indicates that import is complete.
